What .999 Fine Silver Bullion Do We Buy?
Silver & Gold Cash Buyer purchases select .999 fine silver bars and rounds manufactured by established, widely recognized mints and refiners.
Eligible silver bullion must be in good, normally resalable condition and clearly marked with its:
Weight
.999 silver purity
Recognizable manufacturer’s name, hallmark or brand
We most commonly purchase:
1 troy ounce silver bars
1 troy ounce silver rounds only—no other round sizes
5 troy ounce silver bars
10 troy ounce silver bars
1-kilogram silver bars
100 troy ounce silver bars
We may purchase other sizes depending on the product, manufacturer, quantity and current market conditions. We generally focus on bullion from recognized government mints, established private mints and reputable refiners, including qualifying products manufactured by refiners appearing on the LBMA Good Delivery List.
Silver Bullion We Do Not Purchase
We do not purchase every item stamped “.999.” The item must be recognizable, properly marked and in good condition.
We do not purchase:
Homemade or personally poured silver bars
Bars or rounds made by unknown or unrecognized manufacturers
Unmarked silver or items without a clearly marked weight and purity
Heavily tarnished, corroded or chemically damaged silver
Drilled, cut, clipped, bent or otherwise damaged bullion
Altered or repaired bars and rounds
Items with questionable authenticity
Bullion that is not in normally resalable condition
Original packaging, mint tubes or sealed assay packaging may help identify an item when applicable, but packaging alone does not establish authenticity or increase our payout.
How Much Do We Pay for .999 Silver Bullion?
We purchase silver bullion for a percentage of the current silver spot price. The applicable percentage may vary depending on the product type, size, quantity and current market conditions.
Our offers are based strictly on the item’s verified silver content. We do not pay additional premiums for:
Collectibility or rarity
Limited-production items
Special designs
Manufacturer or brand premiums
Retail dealer premiums
Original packaging or certificates
What the seller originally paid
Higher asking prices found online
For example, a collectible one-ounce silver round and a standard one-ounce silver round contain the same amount of silver if both are verified as one troy ounce of .999 fine silver. Our offer is based on the silver content and the applicable percentage of spot—not on any retail or collector premium.
The silver spot price and our applicable payout percentage are determined at the time of the in-person transaction. Because silver prices can move quickly, telephone estimates are not guaranteed or locked prices.
Our Evaluation and Verification Process
We begin with a visual evaluation of the silver bullion. We review the visible weight, “.999 fine silver” marking, manufacturer’s hallmark, dimensions, condition and overall appearance.
If the item meets our current purchasing requirements, we can provide an initial offer based on the current silver spot price and our applicable payout percentage.
We do not provide silver testing, grading or appraisal as a stand-alone service.
Verification is performed only as part of a proposed purchase. If you accept our initial offer and want to proceed, we perform the verification necessary to complete the transaction.
If verification shows that the weight, purity, authenticity or silver content differs from what was represented, we will explain the issue before proceeding. Any revised offer is yours to accept or decline.
Important Silver Market Notice
Silver has recently experienced record-high pricing, unusually heavy trading activity and significant price volatility. Because market conditions can change quickly, our buying availability and payout percentages may change without notice.
We may temporarily pause purchases of certain silver products, sizes or quantities. We may also limit the amount of silver bullion we purchase at one time.
